Where Am I Now
Location: I am in my Living Room.
Reflect and Record: What connections do you see in the objects that you have randomly taken pictures of? How does the space that you’re standing in impact you? What is your current emotional state?
I guess it is called the Living Room/ Family room for a reason. I took a picture of my cat Eva who makes me sneezy but happy. I took a picture of my TV and PS4 controller. I do not play on the PS4 but play computer games, but i love watching TV. The picture of the plant makes me sad because it is half eaten by the cats. The picture of the Halloween bucket with two Christmas ornaments next to it and the bowling pin with the pictures behind it reminds me of spending time with my husband during holiday and makes me think of why these things are still here and not put away. I think they all belong in Living Room because they all make me feel happy and alive (except for sad plant).
Right now I am happy because my cat is chilling with me.
How does a leader impact the room? How are your emotions impacted by leaders around you?
A leader exudes confidence and others in the room can feel it and know they can go to them for guidance. A leader is open and friendly where others know they can talk to them. A leader is happy and smiling so others are not afraid to approach them even when they are struggling or are upset on the inside. A leader is not afraid to share failures, but is also optimistic in learning from them to create successes and is there to help others learn as well. Leaders take charge without being overpowering and are great listeners.
What leadership means to me:
A leader is not afraid to share failures, but is also optimistic in learning from them to create successes.
